Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from a multiethnic background. Jacqueline's father Elroy is Sri Lankan (Catholic Sinhalese) and her mother, Kim is Malaysian. Her brothers are elder and two younger brothers. In addition, she was crowned Miss Sri Lanka 2006 for Miss Universe 2006 on March 6, 2006 and was a contestant at Miss Universe 2006. She entered television after winning the Miss Sri Lanka title. Her program, Lanka Business Report, is about Sri Lankan business. Padukone is the daughter of tennis star Prakash Padukone. She was born in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. When she was a teenager she was a badminton player in the national championships, but she ended her career in the sport to pursue a career as a model. Padukone's mother tongue is Konkani. The model is Mangalorean in her origins. Padukone is a village located situated in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi located in Karnataka State in India, is where her family is derived from.
